Support the fight against Breast Cancer
The best way to fight against this cancer is through the Susan G. Komen 3- Day for the Cure Walk. I will be dedicating my walk to Lori O’Brien Barlow. The Susan G. Komen Fund paid $5,000 for two urgent surgeries within 6 months for Lori. Today Lori is healthy and wants to give back.
The fight against cancer goes on and I know we're going to win this thing! Do you know someone that has been affected by breast cancer? This disease can touch each and every one of us… Our grandmothers, mothers, wives, sisters and friends can all be affected.
The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure net proceeds, fund innovative global breast cancer research and local community programs supporting education, screening and treatment. Virtually every major advance in the fight against breast cancer in the last 29 years has been impacted by a Susan G. Komen for the Cure grant. A woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every three minutes, and one woman will die of breast cancer every 13 minutes in the United States. This could be someone you love.

team, “Fight like a Girl” which will
have 6 people on it, will be joined by hundreds of others on Oct. 14, 15, and 16th at the Wells Fargo
Center. Millions of
people nationwide take part in the 3 -Day Walk for Life event around the
country. The walk raises over 40% of the
funding for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
The 3 Day walk for the Cure represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported and that one day cancer will be eliminated.
